A 68-year-old cyclist is dead, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP0 say, after a hit-and-run collision in Brant County.
The man, a Cambridge, Ont., resident, was found "unresponsive" on East River Road in Glen Morris at around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to the OPP. He had "sustained life-threatening injuries."
The man was later pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
"A motorist travelling along East River Road located an unresponsive cyclist and vehicle debris in a ditch," said Const. Andrew Gamble in a news release on Sunday. The driver did not remain at the scene, according to him.

Later that day, police located the suspect vehicle and a 65-year-old man from Brant County was arrested and charged with failing to stop at an accident resulting in death.
East River Road was closed between Glen Morris Road W., and Highway 24 for several hours on Sunday, but has since reopened.
