21-year-old man's body found in Longueuil parking lot

Longueuil police are investigating the death of a 21-year-old man whose body was found early Sunday in the parking lot behind a TD Bank branch on Roland-Therrien Blvd.

The death is considered suspicious. The major crimes division and forensic identification section of the Service de police de l’agglomération de Longueuil are involved in the case.

Overnight from Saturday to Sunday, the force was asked by the Blainville police department to assist in locating an individual reported missing, according to Longueuil police spokesperson Jacqueline Pierre.

“After several steps and verifications, the lifeless body of the victim was located in the parking lot,” she said.

The victim’s death was declared at the site and his body was taken to a neighbourhood hospital, Pierre said.

No arrests had been made as of noon Sunday.
