Missing man, 45, last seen on New Year's Day in east Regina

The Regina Police Service is asking for help to find a man who went missing on New Year's Day.

Wendel Anderson, 45, was last seen around 9 a.m Thursday in the 800 Block of Winnipeg Street near Ross Avenue, according to a Friday news release from police.

He's described as five feet five inches tall with a thin build, and has brown hair, a beard and blue eyes.

Anderson was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and a black tuque when he was last seen, police said. He also wears glasses.

While there's no evidence he's come to any harm, he is considered at risk due to a medical condition and the fact he was not dressed for the cold weather, according to the police release.
