Thousands of people in Pimicikamak Cree Nation will be spending New Year's Eve either away from their homes or in the cold, as a power outage in the northern Manitoba First Nation due to a broken power line extends into its third day. Manitoba Hydro hopes to have power restored by late Thursday.
