Ottawa man charged in relation to importation of child sex doll

Ottawa police have charged a 41-year-old Ottawa man in relation to the importation of a sex doll resembling a child.

In a release, police said investigators from the Internet Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant Tuesday at a residence in Ottawa’s east end.

Trevor Newcombe was arrested and charged with: Importing child sexual abuse and exploitation material and unlawful possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and no court dates have been set.
