Police are asking the public for information about an attempted kidnapping of a family in Banff earlier this month.
The incident occurred Dec.13, when a family of four was leaving the Banff Christmas Market near 327 Railway Avenue at roughly 5 p.m.
As they walked towards their car, several masked individuals accosted them and tried to force a 44-year-old man into a vehicle, said the Calgary Police Service in a Dec. 31 news release.
