Blowing snow is expected throughout the day on Tuesday in Waterloo region, Guelph and Wellington County.
Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a yellow weather advisory for the blowing snow as winds are expected to reach 70 km/h at times. The area is also under a snow squall warning.
This will lead to "significantly reduced visibility, particularly in open areas" such as roads near farm fields.
