Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes brought Phillip Danault back to Montreal last Friday night in a trade with the Los Angeles Kings, giving up a second-round pick at next year’s NHL Draft.

That’s the main question answered on this week’s Hockey Inside/Out Show as The Gazette’s Stu Cowan is joined by former Canadiens teammates and 1986 Stanley Cup champions Chris Nilan and Rick Green.

The panel also discusses Juraj Slafkovsky’s improved play since being taken off the No. 1 line with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield and joining rookies Oliver Kapanen and Ivan Demidov. Also, is Zachary Bolduc the right player to replace Slafkovsky on the No. 1 line?

The panel also answers the biggest question facing the Canadiens: What should they do with struggling goalie Samuel Montembeault, who is expected to rejoin the team after the Christmas break?
