B.C. remains in a deep, active trough through Christmas, as the impactful Pineapple Express moves south, impacting nearly all of California through Friday.

Flood watches cover over 40 million people in California and Nevada, spanning over 1,000 km, including the Bay Area, San Jose, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

The U.S. National Weather Service warns moderate to heavy rain may cause rapid creek and stream rises, with standing water likely in urban areas and roads.
