A section of the Stanley Park Seawall has been closed after a mudslide Sunday.
Vancouver's parks operations department said significant rainfall caused a "small slide of mud, rocks and vegatation," which blocked access between Prospect Point and Slhx̱í7elsh (Siwash) Rock.
The Seawall has been closed from Third Beach to the Lion's Gate Bridge while operations staff and engineers assess slope stability and clean up the area, according to an emailed statement from the department.
