Provincial police have charged three suspects accused of carrying out a string of after-hours thefts from stores across eastern Ontario this past summer.
The break-ins, which targeted cigarettes and lottery tickets and primarily involved convenience stores, took place from July to September in Ottawa, Kingston, Brockville, Cornwall and the areas of Quinte West, Leeds-Grenville, Russell County, and Lennox and Addington.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) partnered with local law enforcement and in October issued arrest warrants for three people who were already in custody in another jurisdiction.
