Mounties in New Brunswick are investigating the suspicious death of a man as a homicide, and they are asking the public's help.

RCMP from the Chaleur Region detachment were called to a residence in Lorne just after 9 a.m. Thursday where they discovered the victim, according to a Sunday news release from police.

Based on evidence found at the home, police determined foul play was involved. The victim has been identified as 41-year-old Elliot Mallaley.
