Victoria County RCMP are asking the public for help after fires damaged two structures on Hunters Mountain.
Emergency crews responded to the fires in the 1000 block of the Cabot Trail around 1:20 a.m. Saturday, according to a news release from Mounties.
Members of the Middle River Volunteer Fire Department told CBC that the structures were the same ones erected by Mi'kmaw activists earlier this year to protest logging on the mountain.

An unoccupied building was found fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters were able to extinguish a fire in another nearby building.
One building was destroyed and the other sustained significant damage, police said.
Mounties are calling the fires suspicious and have notified the Nova Scotia Office of the Fire Marshal to assist in the investigation, the release said.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the Victoria County RCMP at 902-295-2350.
