A man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Abbotsford on Saturday morning, police say.
Abbotsford Police Department officers were called to the 28000 block of Huntingdon Road at around 11:20 a.m. after reports of a collision. Police say a vehicle had rolled off the roadway and into a water-filled ditch.
Emergency crews arrived to find the lone occupant trapped inside the vehicle.
Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service extricated the driver, but despite life-saving efforts, police say the man died at the scene.

The crash occurred south of the City of Abbotsford, near the Abbotsford International Airport. Police have confirmed the area where the collision happened is not impacted by the flooding that has affected other parts of the city and the Fraser Valley in recent days.
The investigation is in its early stages and the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) is assisting, say police.
Huntingdon Road remains closed in both directions between Lefeuvre Road and Bradner Road and is expected to stay closed for several hours while investigators examine the scene.
Abbotsford police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, saw the vehicle in the ditch, or has dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
