School bus agencies have cancelled buses around Ottawa on Wednesday because of snowfall warnings, while the capital's buses will run.
Buses for English schools are cancelled under Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario (STEO) around Ottawa, the Renfrew County Joint Transportation Consortium and Tri-Board agencies for the Kingston and Belleville area.
The French Consortium de transport scolaire d’Ottawa is not running buses outside of Ottawa. The French Consortium de transport scolaire de l'Est, which doesn't serve Ottawa, has decided against it as well.

The Ottawa Student Transportation Authority (OSTA) is running buses in the city, as is the French CTSO. OSTA says there may be delays, particularly Wednesday afternoon.
Schools are generally open. What happens when buses are cancelled can vary, so it's best to check with your specific school or board.
No cancellations have been announced in western Quebec.
The Ottawa-Gatineau region is under a snowfall warning for Wednesday. It's expected to stretch into Thursday for some areas.
