Arabnews24.ca:Thursday 16 March 2023 07:10 AM: CAIRO – Egyptian Finance Minister Mohamed Maait said that Egypt aims at reaching net direct foreign investments of 10 billion dollars in the current fiscal year.

This came during Maait’s meeting with Saudi investors in Riyadh on Thursday.

He asserted that Egypt is open for Arab and foreign investors, highlighting the political leadership’s support for investment, suitable business environment and attractive economy for the private sector in different domains.

This would contribute to changing Egypt to a more attractive center for production and exports to Europe and Africa, he said.

He said that Egypt aims at increasing its exports to 100 billion dollars at the medium term via working on expanding the exports base and boosting the competitiveness of the Egyptian products in the world markets.
