Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli chaired a meeting on Sunday to follow up on the process of relocating government employees to the new Administrative City (NAC).

The meeting, which was attended by Minister of Transport Kamel El Wazir and board chairman of the Administrative Capital For Urban Development (ACUD), reviewed the transport ministry’s proposals on offering transportation means to the civil servants including Light Rail Transit (LRT), monorail, underground metro and buses.

Wazir said his ministry contracted with a number of mass transportation companies to operate 48 bus lines to connect NAC with Cairo and facilitate the arrival of the government staffers to NAC.
