Arabnews24.ca:Friday 27 January 2023 07:21 AM: CAIRO – The teamwork of a project for “securing safe environment for women in tourism” – being implemented by the National Council for Women – held a meeting with Adviser of Higher Education Minister Maged Negm and Adviser of Tourism Minister Nashwa Talaat.

In statements on Friday according to MENA, Director General of the council’s department for international agreements and cooperation Naglaa Adli said the meeting tackled training of students in the faculties of tourism and hotels to hone their skills.

She said the training is aiming to raise the percentage of women working in this domain, while raising awareness among youths about the importance of gender equality.

She added that such measures will improve the national index with regard to the women percentage in manpower.

The project is being implemented in collaboration with the Spanish Agency for International Development and Cooperation.
