“You Are Life in Green” initiative concludes in Minya

Arabnews24.ca:Wednesday 7 December 2022 10:39 AM: The activities of the “You are Life in Green” initiative concluded in Minya after it lasted for six consecutive days, from the first to the sixth of December. The initiative is part of efforts made by the Decent Life Foundation in Minya governorate.

Minya University participated in a comprehensive veterinary convoy to examine and provide the necessary treatment.

The University and the Faculty of Agriculture also organized a workshop for women for training on household industries and agricultural awareness. The activities of the convoys received wide attendance and participation.

We must press ahead with development projects in Fayyoum and continually follow them up.

This statement by Local Development Minister Hisham Amna came during his meeting on Wednesday with Fayoum Governor Ahmed el-Ansari to review progress of projects under the presidential rural development initiative, Decent Life, which is underway in 63 villages in Fayyoum.

More than 1,300 projects will be carried out for drinking water, sanitation, roads, communication, agriculture, youth, sports, health, education and local development.

The meeting also reviewed projects of the governorate’s 2022-2023 investment plan for paved roads and improving the environment, lighting and cleaning systems.
