Arabnews24.ca:Saturday 10 June 2023 10:02 AM: A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 19-year-old student in a crash in Gwynedd.
Joshua Lloyd Roberts died after the crash on Ffordd Waunfawr, Caeathro on Friday, 2 June.
Police were called to the scene shortly after 11pm to reports a man had been discovered on the road.
North Wales Police confirmed a 32-year-old man was detained on Friday morning on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
No further action is being taken against a 19-year-old man who was arrested and released under investigation earlier this week.
Mr Roberts' family said they were left "heartbroken" by his death and said he "always had a lovely smile on his face".
A friend of the second-year student at Cardiff Metropolitan University told Sky News he was "popular and likeable".

He had football "in his heart", according to the chairman of his football team Bontnewydd FC.
A friendly match between Bontnewydd and Mr Roberts' local team Caernarfon Town took place on Thursday evening, with donations going to support his family.
More than £13,000 has also been raised for his family through an online fundraising page.
North Wales Police continues to appeal to anyone who was travelling along Ffordd Waunfawr between 10.30pm and 11.30pm to contact them.
They are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage from that period.
