RCMP in Inuvik, N.W.T., say two youth have been arrested after officers found suspected cocaine and a loaded firearm at a home in the community.
Police say they were called on Monday to check on a person who had not been heard from for a number of days.
RCMP say they were let into the apartment on Bompas Street by a tenant, where they allegedly saw a pistol "in plain view.”
Two boys from British Columbia, ages 15 and 17, who were in the apartment were arrested.

The 15-year-old was also charged with failure to comply with a probation order and three counts of disobeying an order of the court.
The 17-year-old, who was out on bail, has also been charged with two counts of failure to comply with a release order.
