At least Stuart Skinner was durable.
The concern around Tristan Jarry when Edmonton traded for the Pittsburgh Penguins goalie is that he runs into injury trouble on occasion.
Jarry, who already missed three weeks this season with a lower-body injury, lasted just 2 1/2 games as an Oiler before leaving Thursday’s game in Boston with a non-contact lower-body injury.
It was a nothing play midway through the second period — he pushed across the crease and came up limping. At the next whistle he headed straight for the dressing room, bringing Calvin Pickard in with the Oilers leading 2-1.

It’s a significant concern because non-contact injuries can be the scariest — it often means a tear somewhere. If this is long term, the Oilers are going to be in serious scramble mode.
It also means, unless Jarry makes a fast recovery, the Oilers will have to make a goaltending move prior to Saturday afternoon’s game in Minnesota.
