Canadiens defenceman Arber Xhekaj has been playing very solid hockey recently.

Xhekaj has impressed former Canadiens teammates and 1986 Stanley Cup champions Chris Nilan and Rick Green, who join The Gazette’s Stu Cowan on this Hockey Inside/Out bonus episode to talk about his play.

Xhekaj says he has started playing without the fear of making mistakes, and Green would like to see him get a shot on the second defence pairing with Lane Hutson. Nilan talks about his experience of being a fighter like Xhekaj, who is also trying to improve his overall game — something Knuckles can relate to.
