President calls for maintaining efforts to upgrade IT infrastructure nationwide

Arabnews24.ca:Thursday 16 March 2023 10:54 AM: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi called for maintaining intensive efforts to enhance the state’s capabilities in the field of communications and information technology and to ensure optimal operation of the emergency and public safety system to achieve a rapid response to all emergencies and crises within a short time.

The President’s remarks came during his meeting on Thursday with Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat, Head of the Armed Forces Financial Affairs Authority Ahmed El-Shazly and Director of the Armed Forces Signal Department Bakr Al-Bayoumi, Presidency Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy said.

During the meeting, the President also stressed the importance of making every effort to facilitate daily life of citizens, save their time and effort and achieve the highest levels of security and safety for them.

The meeting followed-up on efforts to develop the technological and information infrastructure nationwide within the framework of the strategic project for the digital transformation of the state.
