Windsor police are investigating several incidents of shots fired at or near Windsor homes.

Police said Wednesday they are investigating two incidents that could be related.

The incidents took place on March 21, police said, when officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 1600 block of Howard Avenue around 9 p.m. and determined multiple shots had been fired. Shell casings were located.

About an hour earlier the same night, police say shots were fired at a home in the 1000 block of Lincoln Road.

No one was injured in either incident, but Windsor police say their major crimes unit is investigating and believe "both incidents were targeted and may be related."

Police have released a photo of a dark SUV in the area of Howard Avenue at the time that they consider of interest to the investigation.

Anyone with dash camera or surveillance camera footage from the 1000 block of Lincoln Road or 1600 block of Howard Avenue are asked to check their cameras between 7 and 10 p.m. on March 21.

It's the second time this week police have said they are investigating reports of shots fired.

On Tuesday, Windsor police said they were looking for five suspects after possible gunshots in east Windsor on Monday around 10:30 p.m.

Officers responded to a business in the 5400 block of Tecumseh Road East, where they determined a vehicle with masked occupants was parked outside, yelling "obscenities" at a person. Police say the vehicle left, and returned attempting to spray a substance at the person before leaving once more.

On a third visit, police say the driver of the car drew what appeared to be a gun and fired three shots toward the person before leaving.

No injuries were reported and it's unclear whether the weapon was a firearm or replica.
